Well here I am ... finding myself in a new week, my first week at San Jacinto Valley Academy. I must say so far it has been a successful week and we have started to make some progress. I asked the students to tell me what their expectations for math were and I got some excellent responses! I also gave a mathematics pre-skill test which is pulled directly from the 7th grade California State Standards ... I look forward to seeing the completed responses so I can more accurately gauge the level of all my classes so that when we return from break on January 8th I can teach more effectively.
